Do not open new browser windows. I did in such a way on my first site. The logic is simple, if I open a new browser window for external links, then a particular user will never leave my site. But this is a mistake. From my point of view you’d better let your users open links as they wish. By the way if they want to see links in new windows then they can do it with corresponding buttons in their browser. This is the reason why many browsers have this option. Do not worry when sending users to another site. If they want, they will come back.
Do not resize the browser window user because users should have an opportunity to control their browser. If you resize the browser window, you can create disorder and confusion for your users and they will abandon your website forever. In fact users are very touchy creatures with a bundle of caprices. So you should take it into consideration. Just recall those times when you were an ordinary Internet user and these memories will help you to understand your visitors much better. Take care of your visitors and they will be grateful to you, bringing you profits in return.
