Hello there, this article is about making money on the internet . I guess if you are reading this article , it means that you have been trying hard to earn extra money online but maybe need some help to boost your online earnings.

I shall tell you the simple secret. It is very easy really. Google is currently the search engine with the biggest market share. It is so big that people use the word ?google? as a verb, like if you are interested in looking for toys online, people may say ?why don?t you google the word toys?. Yes Google is so big that internet marketers pay special attention to them. A good ranking in Google means lots of traffic to your blog . So if you want to make money online, you first have to get a good ranking in Google (and all the other search engines as well but currently they are not as important and if you rank well in Google, most of the time you will rank well in the other search engines too.)

So first rule of making money using Google , get a good ranking in google. The second rule would be to monetize your site, so that you can make use of this traffic. I shall not go into much detail into that for now, but I can tell you using Adsense, another smart invention by Google will allow you to make it rich. Of course, there are other ways of making money online besides using Adsense. Affiliate marketing is another effective method but again this is a subject of another post.

In this post, I will be talking about link building and how do you actually get backlinks. Like I already mentioned, it is important to rank well in Google rankings to make cash on the internet . One of the criteria which Google uses to rank your website is by counting the number of backlinks to your site. The more backlinks the better; each backlink is considered as a vote for your site. So how do you get more backlinks You can take part in link exchange programs where you can exchange back links with other people with similar websites. You can also trade links directly with people who deal in the same niche as you. Some people even go to the extent to buy back links which Google frowns upon. So actually to get ranked well in Google, it is all about racing to get the most back links to your site.

If you join sites that require you to pay money upfront, sometimes they may be a rip off. I personally do not pay for such services, though I understand that some people claim that these sites offer better quality links. For me, I am more interested in free one way links. Trust me, quantity can make up for quality and free one way text links are the way to go. In the long run that is. If you really want to build up your online empire, it would be better to start with free online services first. Perhaps later one when the money starts coming in, then maybe you can starting trying paid services to outwit your competitors.
