Do You Really Understand Why You Want To Make Money Online?
According to Google over 1 million people search for the words “make money online” or a variation of them. Think about how many others search for other keyword phrases such as “work at home”, home business” and so on!
There are certainly a lot of people who want to use the Internet to make money. So why don’t more people really make money online?
I remember back in the fall of 2002 when I Google searched the words “make money online” and started checking out the results that came up. I had very personal reason I wanted to make money.
The company I had worked at for almost 15 years had been sold once already, and was rumored to be up for sale again. This becomes a more personal experience when the new company begins to change the commission structure, product line, marketing materials, and so on.
As an outside sales rep every time new changes were made this affected my monthly income. Many of the things that are happening in the marketplace today were actually happening to the company I worked for several years ago.
This gave me a very specific reason why I wanted to make money online. I was tired of having my income dictated to me by changes I had no control over.
The longer I continued to work at my off-line sales job the stronger my resolve to create an online income became. This really is the main question you must ask yourself if you are trying to earn money using the Internet.
Why exactly is it important to you to make more money?
This is the time of year when people make New Years Resolutions. Some people call these goals and they may spend quite a bit of time on them.
The truth is as it pertains to your goal of making more money you really only need to focus on that one main thing right now. That one thing is knowing exactly why you want to make more money.
This is going to be the motivating factor that will help achieve whatever your reason is. It will help carry you through the ups and downs you will experience as you try to use the Internet to create additional income.
I am convinced more people do not really earn extra money on the internet because they are not really committed to the reason why they want to do it in the first place. In many cases they may not even totally understand what that reason is.
As soon as you know why you want to make money online the way to do it will present itself. The good news for you is there are already millions of people using the internet to earn more money and so can you.
