Im 14 and really need some money ,my older sister works at a stationary store so she makes like almost $ 8 an hour. We always go shopping together and she could buy almost anything because she always has money on hand. I have tried babysitting but really did not have much luck. I also heard that some fast food stores or grocery stores hire at 14 but i called all the ones in my area that i can think of but all start at 16 ( child labor laws,etc) I absolutely love to shop but hate to beg my parents for money .There are so many things i want and would love to earn the money myself. Im running out of ideas/ways to make some money at my age . I know i might have to wait 2 more years to really work but would love to start some money-making now.So my question is do you have any ideas of a way for me to make some money besides what i mentioned ??? I’ve asked this before and everyone just gave me a buncha sites , im talking real jobs please.Thanks !!!

Look for some mom and pop stores and start there. Other then that stick to the baby sitting gig, and in time get you the some references so you can get a better job for when you turn the “legal” age.

Congratulations to you for wanting to earn money yourself instead of wanting to get money from your parents! That is terrific and very mature of you.
Are your parents entreprenurial minded? If they are, they may be willing to help you set up an internet business of some sort. You have to be 18 to enter into a legally binding contract, so you’ll need adult help to do very much.
You can also get a newspaper route, find an office job (I would suggest talking to family friends who own businesses if you want to do that), or sell yard services.
You love to shop? Do you have a terrific sense of style for adults? Maybe you could be a personal shopper (again, you’ll need Mom and Dad’s help for that since you’ll need a car).
Can you put together stunning gift baskets? Maybe you could create some for local retail shops.
Think about your strengths and you’ll soon be earning money. Also keep lines of communication open with your parents – you’ll need their help!
They should be very proud of you.
